FAA at 40: A series of forty life lessons

The other day, I ran into a friend of mine I hadn’t seen in ages. He reminded me that the last time we saw was at my thirtieth birthday party. That took me back down memory lane and got me reflecting on how much that birthday was a turning point in my life. You see, at the age of 27, I was at one of the lowest points of my life. At that time, I couldn’t even imagine seeing my thirtieth birthday. When I did, achieving that milestone was a perfect excuse to have a boisterous birthday party.

Forty life lessons challenge

Forty days from now will make a complete decade since I turned 30, and there is a lot to be grateful for and about. Life has smiled at me and all I need to do is smile back. As a celebration of my four decades of life, I would like to challenge myself to publish one life lesson per day for forty days. I’m a little apprehensive to commit to such a huge undertaking, but I can’t think of a better way to celebrate with my friends, contacts and network than by sharing relatable life lessons from experiences I have had over my last 40 years on earth.
